If you live in the Fort Collins, CO area and didn't already know, two of Orange County, CA best punk bands will be performing here in Fort Collins Monday night. That's right. The bands Guttermouth and Agent Orange are scheduled to play with Pinata Protest at Hodi's Half Note tomorrow night, Monday October 7th, in Downtown Fort Collins. The doors to this show will open at 8 p.m. and the pre-sale tickets are going for $12 a piece, which is quite a steal for the quality of talent.
Guttermouth, the headlining band for this event, has not released a full length album since "Shave the Planet" in 2006. However, they did release a split-7 inch with the band The New Threat. Their side of that 7" is available for download here.
Although Agent Orange has not produced an album in many years, they have still been touring and performing better than ever. Agent Orange has been together since 1979, when they founded the band in the Orange County, CA. They can be credited for contributing to the creation of a punk genre, that was once so strong. So come out and support your local punk scene FoCo, I'll see you there
Did you go? I wasn't able to, but I wanted to see Guttermouth so bad! I'll have to make up for it with the Less Than Jake show I guess.
